As Sheperd discusses the celebration of Sinterklaas in The Netherlands, We seem to make efforts to celebrate the feast yearly and aren't able to see that this is an old story with a bigger issue inside!
Many people have been enslaved.

The celebration is on the 5th of December every year.
The way the people look at it is: They want to celebrate an evening together with the family,
Just like Christmas in the US. The Dutch celebrate Sinterklaas.
Saint or no saint, It is clear, The country is in a discussion, ... the world needed to change years ago.

Racism seems to be the discussion. Unsafe feelings from dark-skinned people are about the fact that they try to speak out about the fact that slavery is an issue we should talk about and put the awareness into actions.
Jokes are made about the slavery and the way the Netherlands made this change into a succesful feast!
It is November the 3th when i see 2 movies about Sinterklaas, the Dutch Santa Claus.
It is a big tradition in this country to celebrate the birthday of this holy-saint and his generousity.
The man who once was the first white-man with his black friends to give all the children presents is now an old tradition that is discussed by the UN.
It seems that Groningue made effort to invite the UN Shepherd who says the Netherlands should abolish the Sinterklaas celebration and called it a'' return to slavery

UN drops Black Pete 'racism' charge against the Dutch (writes the newspaper this year).
As the 2 movies seem to show the same problems as ever.
The holy saint and his strong friends, (all black) are helping the man to give the children a wonderful celebration and the possibility to get candy and presents.
Every year there is a new version of a Sinterklaas / Santa Clause movie.
